We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Adviser (who is potentially willing to step up as the Recruitment Manager) to join our team and play a key role in recruiting, retaining, and supporting top talent.
About the Role
As a Human Resources Adviser, you will work closely with managers and team leaders to ensure the organisation attracts and retains top talent. You will provide expert guidance on staffing strategies, oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, and support the implementation of fair and effective workplace practices.
During this initial period, your salary will be £27,000 per year. Subject to your performance and progression, you will be promoted to Recruitment Manager. In this role, you will take full responsibility for managing the end-to-end internal recruitment cycle, supporting both in-house and project-based hiring needs. Upon confirmation of this position, your salary will increase to £38,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
- Draft and publish compelling job advertisements
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and shortlisting candidates
- Liaise and negotiate with recruitment agencies and other external partners
- Advise on employment policies, working conditions, and performance management
- Support onboarding, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
- Ensure HR practices comply with relevant laws and regulations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a similar HR advisory or recruitment role
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and recruitment techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- A proactive and solution-focused mindset
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related field (desirable)
